Commercial Refuse & Recycling Collection
The City of Fitchburg requires that commercial properties (ie: businesses, institutions, condominiums, or multi-family dwellings larger than 4 units) provide for their own recycling and refuse collection. City Ordinance requires recycling of the following materials:
Lead acid batteries Major appliances Waste oil Yard waste & Brush Aluminum containers Bi-metal containers Corrugated paper and other container board Foam polystyrene packaging Glass containers Magazines Newspaper Office paper Mixed paper Plastic containers Steel containers Tires |
