Northeast Neighborhood Plan

Adopted April 27, 2010

The Northeast Neighborhood Plan is part of the Fitchburg Comprehensive Plan as an amendment to Appendix A.  The neighborhood plan analyzes the natural resources environment, parks and open space, transportation and connectivity, storm water management and utilities, land use, and integration with existing areas.  The Plan is to provide a rational basis for decision-making by the City when the private sector proposes a development/redevelopment opportunity within the proposed neighborhood and or concurrent with the expansion of the Urban Service Boundary.  The plan is also a guide for public infrastructure planning and investment.
