Moraine Edge Park Conceptual Master Plan
Moraine Edge Park is a future park proposed to the south of Fitchburg's urban area. It's envisioned to have an agricultural theme, educating visitors on Fitchburg’s farming heritage and technology, while providing new recreational opportunities for the community. Moraine Edge Park is the first priority for implementation of the Conceptual Park and Open Space Proposal.
Once a steering committee is appointed, City staff can begin the process for preparing a conceptual master plan for Moraine Edge Park. This plan will create a vision for the park, identify programming opportunities, and guide the City in decisions regarding the possible creation of the park.
